The Experience
Welcome to your new beginning. Your First appointment will be a Curl Jones Love Lesson, this signature appointment is a master class on understanding the characteristics, needs, and styling of YOUR HAIR. Please arrive 15 minutes early and allow 3 - 3 1/2 hours for this service. The goal is simplicity, freedom, and joy. This one-on-one appointment starts with a full consult that will assess the current state of your hair and incorporate your needs, desires, lifestyle, and skill level into a customized lesson just for you.
After taking your curls to the next level with a detox, you will be guided through step-by-step instructions on everything from shampoo and condition techniques to applying your styler and setting your hair for a successful, long-lasting hydrate and define (wash and go).
Come with all the questions and feel free to bring any products in your current rotation for assessment. Our goal is to dispel myths, teach you how to love your curls, and prescribe what products work best for you. This treatment is provided with a focus on giving. Come with an open mind and ready to be blown away.
*Prior to your experience, you'll want to be sure your curls are best prepared for a Curl Jones Visit.
At least 30 days leading up to your appointment you will forgo the use of oils, butters, and Eco Styler/Wetliner gel, heavy butters, oils, coconut oil, silicones, petroleum, lanolin, echo gel, wetliner styler gel, Cantu products, Shea moisture products, castor oil, Mielle, etc. These products/ingredients prevent water from entering in and have a huge impact on the outcome of your hair at our appointment.
Already In The Know
For new clients who don't require education. After being detoxed, cleansed, conditioned and treated (if necessary), your curls will be given the royal treatment and brought back to life. Once your hair is set and styled in a hydrate and define (wash n go), your dry, defined tresses will be cut incorporating curl by curl and curl grouping techniques that allow the curls to thrive and live in all their glory. This appointment only allows enough time for product recommendations. If you require more time to learn techniques and ask questions, please schedule the LOVE LESSON

We're here to help you achieve beautiful, healthy, and manageable hair that allows you the time, freedom, and independence to live your best life. Whether you're new to natural hair, looking to partner with an experienced stylist, or have struggled with retaining length, dryness, product selection, or styling, we've got you covered. This experience includes a consultation, optional haircut, hair detox to remove buildup, necessary treatments, and a lesson on choosing the right products for your hair type (bring your own for assessment!). We'll also teach you cleansing and conditioning techniques and how to apply styling products for a Hydrate and Define (Wash nGo) look. And, we'll wrap it up with maintenance tips for both morning and night. We're committed to helping you achieve your hair goals and can't wait to work with you!

Please allow 1 1/2- 2 hours for service. For new clients who prefer to have someone else do all the work. Curls will be brought back to life and given the royal treatment. I will cut your dry defined tresess incorporating curl by curl and curl grouping techniques that allow the curls to live and thrive where they live and in all their glory. This appointment only allows enough time for product recommendations. If you require more time to learn techniques and ask questions, please schedule the love lesson. Hair that has not been detangled will incur a detangling fee

It's a pain, isn't it? We use a gentle, ammonia free solution that will neither dry nor compromise your curls. Always followed with a deep conditioner. Styling not included. THIS IS AN ADD ON SERVICE. Can only be done in addition to an existing service.
